Abstract


In the era of the 21st century, cooperation skills are very important to be instilled in students, because to face global challenges and the development of the times and advances in science and technology, participants need to prepare their skills both soft skills and hard skills, one of which is strengthening collaboration skills, therefore Educators need to design learning model that can foster cooperation skills between students. The STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) type learning model provides opportunities for students to foster cooperative skills among students, this also has an impact on tolerance, mutual care and mutual help. The purpose of this research is to foster cooperation skills through cooperative learning of the STAD type of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Karanganyar Todanan and also to see whether or not it is possible to use the STAD type specifically to foster a sense of cooperation. The research method used was field research, a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and using several data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that learning begins with the learning planning process, then proceeds with the process of implementing the STAD type cooperative learning model in mathematics learning and learning evaluation.
